NACTEL has 20 plus years of expanding lifelong learning opportunities for working adults and improving access for adults to quality academic programs carefully aligned with careers in the telecommunications industry.It is supported by a variety of telecommunications companies as well as the Communications Workers of America and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. The goal of the Pace University/NACTEL program is to provide more advanced training for those currently working in the telecommunications field, as well as to encourage others to enter into this fast-growing and ever-changing industry.
The Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL) is the NACTEL administrator. CAEL is an international non-profit founded in 1974. CAEL works to make it easier for people to receive the education and training they need to get employed and stay employed. From its beginnings in 1974 to the present, CAEL has been the nation’s leading advocate for adult students.
